InnovationXchange (IXC) Malaysia Berhad (http://www.ixc.com.my) is a new, not-for-profit company with a staff strength of up to 20 people in 3 years' time. We are a commercially neutral, global knowledge exchange which delivers the ground breaking "IXC Intermediary Service" to business and research -- a new way to find the connections organisations need.

Responsibilities:
IXC Intermediaries will work with clients located in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley, Penang, other parts of Malaysia, and also remotely in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe and the US.
IXC Intermediary Services are provided to diverse global trade ecosystems such as Advanced Manufacturing & Materials, Food & Agriculture, Resources & Energy, Life & Health Sciences, Transport & Logistics and Information & Communications Technology.
As an IXC Intermediary, you will:
    * Be part of a network of IXC Intermediaries in Malaysia, Australia and the UK
    * Be deployed by IXC to up to six client organisations per week
    * Provide your client with information and options for making connections with external organisations
    * Bring opportunities for collaboration to a client and facilitate their direct engagement with the other party using the opportunity and engagement process to protect confidential IP (Intellectual Property)
    * Have no vested interest in the outcome of the connections that they find, only client satisfaction
 
Requirements:
Are you:
    * A creative, articulate professional with research experience in science, technology or engineering disciplines?
    * A lateral thinker, passionate about innovation and your own discipline, yet able to think outside of the box and make connections to other fields?
    * A great listener with highly developed interpersonal skills, with career goals in commercialisation, technology transfer or business development and able to manage relationships with clients in a highly fluid environment, respect confidentiality and work with people across all levels of an organisation?
To be eligible you should have appropriate high level qualifications (typically a PhD degree, in certain instances a Masters degree) in a scientific, technology or engineering field. IXC Intermediaries need to be credible when dealing with CEOs and researchers in a range of industries and organisations.
Other requirements:
          * Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia
          * At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
          * Based in Penang or Kuala Lumpur
